Yet another celebrity.

Billy Mays (July 20, 1958 - June 28, 2009)

I'm starting to think this is some sort of epidemic. All the celebrities are running scared. I think he died in his sleep. RIP, Billy. I'm gonna miss your loud obnoxious voice and frequent appearance on my television.

I know! So sad! Billy Mays, you were just on Conan O'Brien the other night, and I saw you all the time making fun of yourself in the ESPN360 commercials! Man, rough week.

In completely unrelated news, I played tennis with Mr. Hardin today, up near the rose gardens in Washington Park. Fun times!

Zack,

I did see that too. Apparently he said he wasn't feeling too well when he went to bed. I have no idea if it is related, but as always, whenever you get a head injury, you REALLY need to get it checked out ASAP. This is why we automatically keep football players who are complaining of head pain out of the action and send them to the trainers.

I'm currently in the middle of Constitution homework from Mr. Sanderson. I am so like one of you guys now! If you ever get to take his AP Government class at Westview, watch out! I am sure it will be fun, but there is a ton of work to do too!

Whoops, I accidentally deleted my last comment...Stupid computer!

Mr. Fritz,
Yeah we must have had 5 players or more this last year, and as soon as someone even takes a hard hit, even if they don't complain, they automatically sit or go to the trainer.

Yeah I look forward to his class, because I know he will challenge me to do my best, which is what I want to get out of those AP classes. Is he teaching a class at Lewis and Clark?

Zack,

Are you taking his class next year? Yes, he teaches a Social Studies class in the summers at Lewis and Clark called "Teaching Constitutional Issues" - where he gives us a lot of the same work that he give his AP Gov class, but then we also talk about how to teach it all.

I'm also taking another class on how to teach Economics. Really interesting, but hard to wrap my head around.

Mr. Fritz,
No, I plan on taking his class junior year, along with Econ that year as well.

I would imagine that the Economics class is pretty interesting, but extremely complicated. I think it will be fun to learn about that kind of stuff, so long as I can understand at least some of it. I personally think that Economists are some of the most intelligent people out there.
